Complete Field Player Development: At Alvernia we are interested in maximizing a player’s potential and developing a complete player. Our sessions focus on fundamental and functional training, dynamic attacking, supporting play, decision-making, finishing, transition play, and defending. Competitive small-sided games and full field games will take place every night. Players will not only learn a how to be a complete player but they will also have a lot of fun throughout the week.
Clean Sheet Keeper Program: At Alvernia we have a tradition of excellent goalkeepers. Goalkeepers are provided a balance of individual instruction, functional group training, and pressure situation training that ensures every goalkeeper receives professional attention aimed at maximizing his/her experience. Goalkeepers train as a group throughout the morning and afternoon and join their assigned team in the evenings.
Teams are welcome! A specialized team program is offered during either camp for teams interested in enhancing team chemistry and the overall team concept. Focus will be on systems of play, combination play, possession with purpose, finishing, and leadership. Coaches are invited to attend and communicate with Coach Casey Moore any other specific areas of focus they want emphasized. If you wish to sign a team up see the team discount option below.
Soccer balls may be purchased when you register for camp for an additional $20. Campers are not required to bring a ball to camp and purchasing one is optional.
